Brief History of the Library

The Jackson State Community College Library was originally built in 1967 and a two-story addition was completed in 1972. Ms. Henrietta Henderson served as Library Director beginning in 1967 until Mr. Van Veatch assumed the role of Director in 1968. He retired in 1991 and Scott Cohen became the third Library Director at that time.
