Admissions
JSCC applications are available at the JSCC Gibson County Center. New students may complete and submit an application for admission to Jackson State Community College at the Center. The Accuplacer placement test is administered at the Center. Staff are available for assistance.
Advising
All staff at the Gibson County Center has been trained as master advisors. Students may set up individual appointments with the Center Director for more comprehensive guidance and advising. The Director is also available for assistance in completion of graduation proposals.
Registration
Students may complete all facets of registration at the Jackson State Gibson County Center. After admission and advising, a student may register online with assistance from the Center staff and receive a copy of his or her schedule before leaving. Registration and changes in schedule may also be done online by the student in the Gibson County Center Learning Resource Center.
Learning Resource Center
The Gibson County Learning Resource Center provides services to our students including college-by-cassette testing, research assistance, computer and internet access, recreational reading and reference books. Students may also access resource material through computer links to the main campus.
