Lexington-Henderson Center Services
Admissions
JSCC applications are available at the JSCCLexington Center. New students may complete and submit an applicationfor admission to Jackson State Community College at the Center. TheCompass placement test is administered at the Center and students mayreceive their scores the same day the test is given. Staff areavailable for assistance.
Advising
All staffat the Lexington Center have been trained as master advisors. Studentsmay set up individual appointments with the Center Director for morecomprehensive guidance and advising. The Director is also available forassistance in completion of graduation proposals.
Registration
Studentsmay complete all facets of registration at the Jackson State LexingtonCenter. After admission and advising, a student may register withCenter staff and receive a copy of his or her schedule before leavingthe Center. Schedule changes can also be done at the Center.Registration and changes in schedule may also be done online by thestudent in the Lexington Center Learning Resource Center.
Fee Payment
Fee payment may be made at the Center. Staff are able to check student fee balance, take payment, and give receipts.
Learning Resource Center
TheLexington Learning Resource Center provides services to our studentsincluding college-by-cassette testing, research assistance, computerand internet access, recreational reading and reference books. Studentsmay also access resource material through computer links to the maincampus.
