Criminal Justice

This Tennessee transfer pathway provides students with the education needed to pursue careers in local, state, or federal law enforcement, corrections, forensics, or as officers within state or federal agencies or court systems.  Students choosing this pathway will be given a strong academic foundation in Criminal Justice by taking core pathway courses including Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to the Legal Process, Introduction to Law Enforcement, and Introduction to Corrections.

The Criminal Justice Pathway (AS) is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four year college or university and pursue a career in one of the many areas within criminal justice.

The Criminal Justice Degree (AAS) is designed for students who plan to pursue a career in Law Enforcement. The Criminal Justice degree would also be beneficial for those who are already employed in law enforcement, but need a college degree in order to advance.
