Duties
Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting Warehouse (WMS, and Warehouse Automation). This position will work with cross-functional IT and business team members to meet the needs of Kirkland's warehouse operations. Candidate must have strong hands-on skills in deploying/supporting WMS in Retail/eCommerce environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide configuration, administration, and production support for WMS
Utilize knowledge of supporting and fulfilling the needs of the distribution center to ensure use of technology investments in supported areas
Analyze, design, and implement changes to resolve break/fix issues and close support tickets
Manage communication related to these issues as per service levels
Monitor production environments for technical issues from internal and external sources
Analysis issues to determine cause and take necessary steps to troubleshoot the issue
Help to manage both hardware and software environments
Diagnose and restore database errors
Assist implementation, support and integration teams
Troubleshoot issues and identify modifications needed in addressing the issues
Support application code and configuration migration from Dev/Test to Production environment while following proper change control management
Coordinates with end users changes and enhancements to system
Assist in various phases of testing
Develop user/system documentation
Qualifications
Qualifications:
College degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred
2+ years of experience with a WMS and supporting applications in a production environment
Hands on experience with Oracle DBMS, SQL, Stored Procedures
Organizational skills along with a strong attention to detail
Windows Server 2088, 2012 experience
TSQL skills that allow for diagnostic and troubleshooting queries
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Analytical problem solver with the ability to think outside of the box
An aptitude for applying lessons learned in seemingly unrelated problems
An understanding of data flows and concepts and the ability to identify points of failure
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time
Ability to work on scanner equipment and printers
