Duties
Overview
Responsible for the ongoing efficient, effective, and compliant operations of assigned WTH owned/operated physician practice. Provides leadership, direction, and administration in all aspects of clinic operations except for decisions involving professional medical judgment. Under the general supervision of Operations Manager or Director. The physician clinic offers both professional and on-site ancillary services.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ongoing operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of assigned clinics
Responsible for consulting in the development of the adherence to clinic-based policies and procedures and education of staff
Responsible for ensuring that compliance with all regulatory agencies governing healthcare delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies are followed
Implement short-term and long-term goals for an assigned clinic to maintain maximum financial performance
Represents assigned clinic in relationships with other healthcare organizations, governmental bodies, not-for-profits, and third-party payors, as requested
Uses cost-effective measures in the day-to-day operations of all resources
Attends required meetings and participates as a member of organizational and departmental committees, as requested
Ability to direct and lead others under their supervision effectively and fairly
Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the department and clinic. Greets guests by our Guest Excellence Principles and AIDET
Adheres to WTH Compliance Policy at all times
Performs related responsibilities as required or directed
Qualifications
Education
High school education required.
Professional development and knowledge equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing at least two years of college.
Knowledge of principles of healthcare planning and management sufficient to manage a clinic that is part of a large integrated healthcare organization
Experience
Three or more years in a supervisory position, Three or more years of experience in the operations of physician clinics
