Deadlines/Timelines

Application deadline for the Radiologic Technology program is June 1st of each year. Program applications may be submitted in person (Jim & Janet Ayers Health Sciences Building, first floor, Administration area) or postmarked by the deadline. No faxed, emailed, or late materials will be accepted or considered. Program officials are not responsible for applications that are lost in transit or received too late for consideration. Currently the RADT Program does not use an online applicaton portal.

  • After June 1st, the scheduling of interviews for qualified applicants will begin. Radiologic Technology program faculty will communicate with applicants via the email address listed on the application; therefore it is important and necessary for students to frequently check their accounts for correspondence.
  • Interviews are generally conducted the third Monday in June on the main JSCC campus in the Jim & Janet Ayers Health Science Building. Students are notified by email at least one week prior to their interview date.
  • Applicants are expected to keep their scheduled appointment time and to be punctual. While rescheduling of interviews for legitimate reasons (hospitalizations, etc.) can be reviewed on a case by case basis, in most instances failure to meet the scheduled interview time will result in withdrawal of the application.
  • After the interview process, all points are totaled and final selection is made. Students are notified by email on July 1, whether or not they were accepted. If students are selected to the program, their acceptance letter will list a date and time for Program Orientation (generally scheduled during the third week of July). The program begins in the fall term each year. If a student is not accepted, suggestions for improvements will be sent with the non-acceptance email or at a later date.
