The mission of the agriculture department is to provide excellence in General Agriculture education including Horticulture, Animal Science and Agriculture Business.
General Agriculture
The Agriculture Department is committed to providing a high quality learning experience for any student who wishes to obtain a Bachelors Degree following his or her first two years of study at Jackson State Community College. All of the general agriculture courses in the student's chosen course of study, among all the general fields of study, such as animal science, horticulture or agriculture business, are fully transferable.
