The purpose of the Scholarship is to aid a Jackson State Community College second-year nursing student enrolled in the nursing program.
Application Requirements
- Demonstrates high academic scores during their first year of nursing.
- Demonstrate economic need for scholarship cost help.
- Possesses a strong bedside manner for nursing and a warm personality.
Scholarship Amount
- Two awards given during the second year of the nursing program: one second year student pursuing Spring graduation and one pursing Winter graduation.
- The amount of each award is $1,000.
- Contingent of available funding.
Selection Process
- Applications are considered by the College of Nursing.
- The Dean of Nursing will notify the recipient (s).
