Application Requirements
- Reside within the 14-county region served by Jackson State Community
- Have earned the necessary grade point average and admission test scores to qualify for entrance at Jackson State Community
- Enrolled full-time in one of the allied health programs or the nursing program at Jackson State Community College.
- Be employed as a care giver in a recognized care giving
Application Process
- Apply through the college's Nursing or Allied Health Department
Scholarship Amount
- The scholarship award will be for $250 per semester to be used for the purchase of books for approved
- Contingent of available funding
Selection Process
- The Financial Aid Office will review applications and select the recipient based on financial need and letters of recommendation
- The selected student will be notified by letter from the Director of Nursing or Allied Health Director
